An autoresponder is without a doubt one of the best marketing tools you can use. In case you are not familiar with exactly what an autoresponder is, it is a script based application that will automatically respond to forms that are filled in by subscribers. Once a person signs up the autorsponder automatically starts sending them a scheduled series of e-mail messages that you have carefully constructed for your leads.  This alone shows how you can use and Autoresponder to increase sales.  But there is much more.
